Our mission is to act as a collaboration hub where best learning practices can be developed and shared throughout the Humber region.

We will work with our students and the community to raise aspirations and enable all students to fulfil their potential.

We pride ourselves on a wide range of diverse partnerships across the education, business and community sectors.

We are a member of the SFCA (Sixth Form College Association), NORVIC (Northern Federation of Sixth Form Colleges) and ACT (Advanced Colleges Trust).

We have strong links with many local partner schools and are an associate college of the Universities of Hull, Lincoln, Coventry (Scarborough Campus), York, Leeds Trinity and Sheffield.

We actively engage with other educational institutions locally and have over 500 business partners that enrich students’ learning experiences.

We retain a strong community focus.

We welcome local groups to use our facilities and often open up College events to the public.

A partnership with the ‘Living with Water’ programme has been developed, which is focused on raising public knowledge of water and its impact on the local area.

This has resulted in the development of a community learning hub on the site with a planned opening during the 2020/21 academic year.

The Trailblazer Academy was initiated in July 2020 to share live webinars and digital learning resources with over 40 schools and colleges.
